Also Imperial age is very unlikely to be reached so the capitol upgrades wont come in to play but remember you also wont have the Animism's final upgrade either so your eco is pretty much crap as gathering from rocks is slow and there are few cards that can upgrade their mining time. Most people dont have fencing school in their supremacy deck so train time advantage is a non-factor for them.

This is the game mode Ethiopia shines the most. Other than that gl because an African's life is very rough in treaty. Seers although take pop space they will massively boost your economy to insane numbers and might even be on par with late game FU Americans. The spawn flag should be in the direction of your seers to get the spice stalls and the rocks as near to your seers as possible for the boost.įactory on wood at all times because you do not have Imperial heavy cannon upgrade and 80 vils is the perfect number of vil you should aim for. Pretty obvious you will need atleast 5 seers near your Quarry + Spice Shop to keep your economy as good as the Europeans but make sure to force them in guard mode otherwise they will run off when they see your enemy running around the base. Make sure you have atleast 5 seers with your army at all times. Dont spam these guys they are very bad in the late game due to the lack of upgrades and massive export cost which is better spent on techs and Sebastapools. The Selfenga is a very good unit but only effective in low number. Oromo on the flanks to kill off those pesky culverins and skirms trying to kill your army. Your usual army is Neftenyas + Oromo Horsemen + 3 Sebastapool keep the cannons in the back and surround them with Neftenya. Especially if you have the reduce villies' cost card from the Russians since these 2 cards dont synergize that well. Town center autospam villies is very bad in 40 mins treaty but is INSANE in 20 mins treaty so be careful about taking it certainly it sounds good but its not that good trust me. Their train time is terrible (30 seconds) but they are very strong and somewhat cheap for their price so manke sure you have all the upgrade cards available for them. Oh and dont take the rock cost no wood card that card is a huge bait as rocks are very cheap and last a long time so you wont be spamming them at all.Īs per usual the most OP card you have is the "AOE attack" for your Neftenya. Both of these are good in supremacy but super bad in treaty trust me only take 1-2 cards from either of them at a time. Try your best to avoid the Portuguese cards and dont favor the Indian cards. Make sure you have atleast 10 Russian cards and Ethiopia wont be too bad at treaty. Even if the card sounds very bad for you trust me the reduction in army train time is more than worth it. Take every possible upgrade cards and the factory from the Russians. You will need as much Russian cards as possible to play Ethiopia in this game mode. Ethiopia in treaty requires loads of game knowledge and excessive mastery of the civ to be played at a halfway decent level.

Your army shipments cost tons of export which is gathered super slow and expensive in the early gameīut makes no mistakes Ethiopia is EthiOPia if played correctly. Your enemy will know exactly what cards you will have in the deck most of the time and they will counter you very easily. Rely a lot in the Indian and Russian cards making their deck very weak and easy to counter. So if you are facing a civ with super strong ranged cavary such as the Chinese who have absurd ranged resist and decent anti-cav capacity you will be in big trouble. Lack of variety in army comp- literally most games you will only spam Neftenya backed with Oromo Horsemen + Arty support. Needs massive investment of time and effort to play at a decent level. Seer's boost is amazing but very susceptible to raids. Economy requires insane amount of macro similar to other African civs they will not be able to stand up to the European or US/Japan's economy later on. Very slow trainning army and completely lacks train time cards. Below is the overall guide for this amazing civ Excels in every map regardless of starting position, hunts and can beat literally every other civ in the game if played correctly.
